Firstly - What is Pilates?
Pilates, is a low-impact exercise method created by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s. It combines mental focus with physical training to improve flexibility, strength, and core stability. Emphasising controlled movements, precise breathing, and mindfulness, Pilates allows individuals to stretch and strengthen their bodies while enhancing overall well-being.

What to expect from Pilates Classes
We offer group Mat Pilates, using body weight and small equipment. Our Pilates classes are mixed abilities and booked on a monthly rolling register. This guarantees your place and ensures class sizes are kept small, allowing your instructor to provide suitable guidance for all participants.
Pilates is suitable for all fitness levels, from beginners to athletes, and all age ranges. Exercises can be modified to meet individual needs or goals.
Pilates Consultation
A consultation is only required prior to classes if you have been referred from a medical practitioner, or recently undergone surgery.
